Hello everyone! It's me again, and I'm just sending out a little reminder for our first meeting happening this upcoming Saturday. For all of you out of state /out of country peoples, I'll make sure to post the details directly after the meeting. For those of you that can definitely make, please arrive promptly at the new Barnes and Noble in the Augusta Mall at 2:00 p.m. I'll be in the cafe with my messed up laptop with Raven.
I've also come up with an awesometastic idea that might just work. I'm a member of Skype, this awesome program/service/thingy (?) that allows for video chat. If I can fix my webcam, I think that I'll try my best to "broadcast" the meeting. If not, I think I'm gonna try to record it with my camera and upload it here. I guess it all depends on my technology cooperating with me. I'll let you guys know when I can figure it out.
Now for those who haven't friended Aisuru Nippon on MySpace, here's what the meeting will pretty much consist of:
-Cons 09: dates, costs, time table
-Nihon 09: dates, costs, important out of country info
-Aisuru Nippon
-Fundraisers: bake sales, tea parties, candy
-Travel Expenses: passports, tickets, etc.
-Fundraiser dates
-Dates for future meetings
-Items needed for the production of products: fabrics, magnets, other supplies
-Much much more
This is be the official beginning of this product. After the planning stages are officially complete, we will be in business.

Ichiban
YĆkoso! My name is Shava for all purposes, and I am Raven's Number 2. I'd like to be the first to welcome you, again, to Aisuru Nippon's blog. What started out as an idea to make money for anime conventions and cosplays has turned into something much more; this is the beginning of a business venture. Aisuru Nippon means "To Love Japan", and everyone involved in what I like to call the AN Project loves Japanese culture, which includes fashion, food, music, and other media. Right now, we are doing our best to focus on fashion. Within the next five years, we hope that Aisuru Nippon can grow into something huge. With your help, we can.
We plan on starting small, with lolita top hats and headdress, nail sets, and props for cosplays. By the beginning of next year, our website will be up and will advertise everything that we will be selling. Commissions can and will be accepted. Just email us at aisurunippon@gmail.com. We'll be more than happy to work out cost and shipping.
October 2009 will be the official launch of Aisuru Nippon. We will have a table in the dealer's room of Kawa Con, Augusta, Georgia's first convention focused on anime and games. We hope that by this date, we will have enough items to make a hefty profit. This can only be accomplished by the support of everyone out there. So I ask you, are you ready for a revolution?! But seriously, this can and will be big with your help. So spread the word, read the blog, join the MySpace, and get ready. Next year this time, we'll officially be in business.
